What is the Nykaa Affiliate Program?

Nykaa Affiliate Program (NAP) is a program run by Nykaa that allows external content publishers to serve automatic text, image, video, or interactive media advertisements from the Nykaa universe (Nykaa.com, NykaaFashion.com, Nykaaman.com) that are targeted to publishers content and audience and divert traffic to Nykaa.

Nykaa Affiliates can earn every time a user clicks on the affiliate links and makes a purchase on the Nykaa app/website. For example if you are a content creator of a makeup blog, you can choose to advertise popular (precomputed) or curated makeup products from Nykaa.com on your blog to your customers. Your customers get quick access to a collection of curated or automatically suggested makeup products and you make commission when your customers purchase while clicking on those links. These links can be used on social media as well as blogs.

 

What’s next when I get approved on NAP?

As soon as your details on Nykaa Affiliate Program get approved, you would have gotten an approval email and access to a detailed dashboard when you click on www.affiliate.nykaa.com where you can:

- Create product/page links you want to showcase

- Share these links across your social media channels
- Manage your account

- Check performance reports

 

You can use NAP links on all your social media handles like Instagram posts, swipe up stories on Instagram, YouTube descriptions and even across WhatsApp! 


What kind of links can I show on my website?
You can promote any page link or specific product on Nykaa.com and Nykaa Man!


Which products can I promote on my blog?
All products across categories can be promoted on your handle, as long as they are available on Nykaa.com or NykaaMan.com.

 

How do I know how much I have earned and how many orders have been placed? 

Please follow the steps below:


Step1: Go to the left top corner of your dashboard

Step 2: Click on 'Reports'

Step 3: Then select ‘Orders and Traffic’

You will find all the data there, sorted by product and orders placed. Please note that data is sorted month-wise, if you would like to see past-data please select relevant month.

 

What if the customer returns or cancels the order?

Please note that if a customer cancels or returns an order, you will not be paid commission for it.


The commission is calculated only once the order is fully complete and successful.

 

An order was placed using my link yesterday and it's not reflecting on my dashboard. Why?

This is due to one or all of the reasons stated below:

 

1. The order dashboard updates orders every 48 hrs, we request you to wait for the 48 hours and check again, if it still hasn’t updated, it could be one of the reasons below.

2. The link was created more than 30 days ago. All NAP links are only valid for 30 days, orders created from links more than 30 days old will not reflect in NAP.

3. The final order has been placed by clicking on another banner ad, post taking the user journey away from your link.

 

Why is the amount on my dashboard not the same as my payout amount?

This could be for reasons mentioned below: 

1)The dashboard updates every 48 hours. Please wait for the stipulated time period before checking an order update. If there is still a discrepancy, it could be for the reasons below.

2) Cancelled or returned orders will not reflect on the dashboard.

3) Orders that have not yet been shipped out of the warehouse will reflect only once its finally shipped out.

4) Check validity of the NAP link as it may have expired - all NAP links are only valid for 30 days.    

5)The final order has been placed by clicking on another banner ad, post visiting Nykaa from your link.


Do the NAP links ever expire? 

Yes, they expire after 30 days. You can regenerate new links after 30 days are over.

 

How do I place a self order? 

You can create a link and place an order as it redirects you to the application/website. Only 10 self-orders are allowed per year per affiliate. As a NAPper please avoid placing an order from another affiliate link.

 

Do I get any Nykaa product to start off with or do I need to place a fresh order myself in order to make my promotional videos? How do I become a part of a PR campaign?

The NAP program does not distribute products. You are free to use your own products and create custom links to promote them. 

 

However we do try to incorporate PR campaigns for our NAPpers. PR campaigns are managed as per the discretion of the participating brand, depending on the affiliate’s revenue data, number of products available and content focus. For further details please reach out to pr.nap@nykaa.com.

 

Do my viewers get any privileges if they click on the link provided by me? 

 

NAP links redirect your viewers to the Nykaa platforms, they do not get any additional benefits.

Can I use NAP links for a paid commission campaign? 

No, NAP links cannot be utilised for any paid collaborations.
